Brachioradial pruritus , I have had itchy arms for the past ten months I went to two different dermatologist in my town about eight different times, I was told to change my Soap, shower tempter, laundry soap just about everything had skin allergy test and finely the last doctor said he was stumped and was going to send me to the head dermatologist in another town, I followed up and she said that I had Brachioradial pruritus and recommended a compound salve and oral Amitriptyline HCL 25mg at bedtime, the salve was a bit irritating but I continued to take the amitriptyline , well about two and half weeks later my itch stopped, It has been a week now and I am itch free and my arms are clearing up nicely after being rash and bleeding..I see the Dr. for a followup in about ten days..I am very happy. why it activated after my auto accident 30 years ago , who know..I think this condition can be overlooked very easily and people can suffer for years with out help..please check into this because it might be your problem..I will followup with chiropractor and acupuncture..if you want any more details you can email me..
