Question
QUESTION: I have had some nerve damage to the nerves coming out of the sacrum due to back surgery. Have a bone graft in the 4l and 5l. Do you think the decompression would help the pain going down my leg and up into the back. I have tried about everything!
ANSWER: Dear Bonnie,

It depends the type of nerve damage of your condition.  If it is cut or torn, then decompression may not help but if the nerve is compressed, the decompression may alleviate the pressure on the nerve.  Have you gone to a chiropractic or acupuncture office to have a consultation of your concern?  You may get a more definite answer once a history or an exam is done.

I wish you the best and hope you a speedy recovery.

Any suggestions?

Answer
Dear Bonnie,

Hope you had a wonderful weekend!  Monday and it is the first day of work and first thing to do in my office is to email you back.  Thank you for your patience.

Unfortunately, I am not familiar wit Montana area and the DRX-9000 machine.  Perhaps it may be a good idea to visit a chiropractor's office and inquire from there or search on the internet in your local area.
