Chiropractors/Dizziness

Question
Hello, Can a herniated disc at the L1 L2 level cause any type of dizziness/off balance feeling, or like you are not in your body fully.  I don't know how to explain it. Not like the room is spinning but just not right.  I am also a perimenopausal woman.  I'm just trying to figure this symptom out.  I was anemic but corrected that which helped but I still feel weird and my disc herniation happened a few months ago.  Thank you, HJ

Answer
Holly,

No, I've never heard of Lumbar disc herniations causing dizziness.  If you continue to feel dizzy or have balance issues, then you should check with your PCP to rule out anyting serious.  Your symptoms can be caused by sinusitis, a viral infection, or it can be caused by MS.  So if it persists, then please get it checked out.
