Question
Hi, I have been suffering from tennis elbow on both arms for a few years now, I have had injections twice in each elbow but am worried about having more, acupuncture from two different sources, various natural products and have seen both a osteopath and a chiropractor, the pain has moved now to the inside of the joint, apparently called golfers or boxers elbow? I am being told that this is due to the area healing, can this be right, are there any other options?

Many Thanks
Paul.

Answer
Hi Paul,

What you have now is chronic tendonitis, this is extremely difficult to get a handle on. If you went threw the course of oral steroids (Medrol Dose Pack) and other bracing techniques, you are a candidate for Prolotherapy. Basically it is an injection of glucose and water to initiate an inflammatory cascade mechanism to clean out the enzymes causing the chronic inflammation. This works 90% of the time. Only a few people know this therapy exists, it is ancient and since has been forgotten by mainstream medicine. DO's still do it, or at least a few do. Here is a website that details a list of physicians and such to help guild you to a final resolution to your chronic issues.

Thank you for your question Paul, I know this will help!
