Question
hi, i have had pain in the top of my hand right above my metacarpals before on my right hand that pain then moved to my wrist and now i am not able to move my wrist as far back or forward or put as much pressure on it as i had before and now on my left hand i had the same pain. When i woke up this morning the pain had moved to a strip about a inch and a half wide between my middle and pointer finger until a little after my wrist ends. What does this mean? It really hurts when i touch it just lightly but not when I'm typing or anything.

Answer
First, I would like to apologize for my tardiness in answering.  There was a death in our family and I have been away from the computer.  I can be an impingement (pinch) of the median nerve in the carpal tunnel.  Any repetitive motion can cause these types of injuries, and a good chiropractor should be able to assist you, and if not, send you on the appropriate route.
