Chiropractors/Head Numbness

Question
A few days ago while putting up my hair i noticed that the left side of my head was numb. It doesnt hurt and no other parts of my body are numb. I dont have blurred vision or a headache. Last night the numbness moved towards the top of my head. I was just wondering how concerned i should be about this? Is this something i need to go to the doctor for or will it wear off in a few days?

Hi Jenifer,

It might need follow-up if it persists, many times this is do to chemical irritation from hair products, if trauma isn't an issue, then look here first. Give it a couple days and change your shampoo and anything else that comes in contact with your scalp. If this is definitely not the cause, get an appointment with a neurologist to see if other possible causes are likely.
