Question
Can Chiropratcic care help with herinated disc(s) in the cervial region of the neck/spine  (C-6  C-7)?  I am considering seeing a chiropractor for my herniated disc but I'm concerned that malipulation could cause further damage or injury.

Answer
Hello Chris,

Yes, chiropractic care can help with disc injuries.  The size and location of the herniation will help determine the treatment.  With large herniations the joints above and below may be treated to increase motion and healing time of the injured disc.  Keep icing and no heat!
