Question
I have been through physical therapy, been to a Medical doctor, go to a chiopractor once a week, and my hip will not stay in place. I have been going through this now for 5 years. I just went to a foot doctor and he put a lift under my orthotic. He thought my hip problem was due to one leg being shorter then the other. The pain still persists. Can you please tell me what other option I have?? Thanks!

Without knowing what tests were performed already it is hard to say. I would imagine an MRI was done, if not, get one of the hip. Instability is corrected with proper isokenetic exercises, maybe the DC and MD are not educated in this area or maybe they are doing the wrong ones. Find a kinesiologist MD (specialist) to evaluate you, then get the proper exercises to stabilize the hip.
Note:
Stay away from applied kinesiology, it is quakery.
