Question
Hi, I have a problem with my left knee! I train in Karate and have been doing so for the past 12 years. Recently i have noticed every time i straighten my knee it clicks , but with no pain. When i do a certain karate stance i do feel some pain on the inside part of the left knee. When walking or doing any other activity i have no problems, its mainly when i sit down and straighten the knee it clicks. Is it anything to worry about , do i need to get treatment done . I would appreciate your advice on this matter. Many thanks Matt.

Answer
Clicks can be a sign of nothing, or something.  And the lack of pain doesn't necessarily mean that there is no problem.  Check with your family doctor; x-ray and possible MRI.  He will probably recommend a short course of PT to see if it changes.  A trip may also be in order to and Orthopedist
