Question
I PURCHASED A NEW MATRESS APPROXIMATELY 6 MONTHS AGO AND EVER SINCE I HAVE HAD LOWER BACK PAIN.  DO YOU THINK THE MATRESS IS TOO SOFT OF TOO HARD?

Answer
Hello Rebecca,

Yes, a new mattress may cause lower back pain.  Depending on how firm or soft your old matress is, may help determine what stiffness your new one should be.  Usually a 2-4 week period is normal for braking in the new matress, so you may want to try a different one or have a exam by a doctor of chiropractic to see what exactly is happening with the lower back.

Have a great day,
