Chiropractors/Middle Back Pain

Question
Hello,

I have been suffering from middle pain back on my right side which feels to be a couple inches right of my spine. I notice the pain when I am walking for a long period of time or standing in one place. It started as a uncomfortable pain which would cease when I sat down. Now that I work retail I am walking a lot and noticing the pain is now turning into a burning sensation, sometimes even a tingling sensation. My partner, when she feels my back on each side, notices the right side is harder then the left side. I have her step on my back to crack it often and it feels better after this is done. I went to the doctor but he just told me to go to physical therapy. Is this something a Chiropractor can take care of?

Answer
Hi Marc,

Yes, without question this is something that is effectively treated by Chiropractors. It should respond in only a few visits. The cause of the pain in this region is usually do to a mechanical fixation that needs to be mobilized by manipulation, just as you have already found out. You just need a pro to do it. It is something that will chronically linger if it isn't adressed, if you need me to find you someone qualified, I would be more than happy to help you out.

Good Luck!
