Chiropractors/Pain behind the knee

Question
I have been suffering with pain behind my knees.  It started out during my monthly cycle, but now it just comes and goes and sometimes I feel it in my hand too.  I am 33 years old with three children.  I was wondering if this is chiropractors issue or should I go to general doctor?

Answer
Hello Tina,

Often driving a motorcycle will cause irritation to the hands and body.  The vibration of the cycle and road can irritate the nerves in the palm and cause the muscles to spasm.  Similar with the legs but more so due to positioning.  Doctor's of Chiropractic specialize in the biomechanics of the joints and muscular system, specific soft tissue work and adjustments may benefit you.  You may want to find a doctor who specializes in soft tissue/ sports injuries.

Have a great day,
