Question
what is the difference between an osteopath and a chiropractor? - i have pain in my neck and tension headaches - which is the best method of treatment?

Answer
Hello Paula,

Doctors of chiropractic are the only board certified and licensed doctors to adjust the spine and joints of the body.  Also doctors of chiropractic take a holistic approach to healthcare.  Doctors of chiropractic can not prescribe any drugs as a osteopath can.

You may want to first see a doctor of chiropractic or have an intial consult with each and determine which treatment plan fits you.
