I suffered from an SI joint problem which involved a pelvic rotation and an pelvic upslip that shortened my right leg 2 inches...very painful!

This pain was ongoing for 6 years.

I tried a procedure called prolotherapy. I could not believe that anything would ever make me better so I waited to see what would happen...it's been 1 year and 6 months of success so far. My leg lengths are even and stay that way! Amazing.

I still have some problems with the front of my pelvis (Left side) where the ilio phoas (not sure on the spelling) muscle is. I never had the injections in that area just the back where the SI joint is but I think I'm going to ask my dr.

The best advise that I can give if you try this procedure, as with any procedure, find out how long the Dr. has been practicing Prolotherapy. Experience is the key here. The injections need to be accurate. If you can, find someone that does it on a daily basis.

I have had similar problems and went to see a chriopractor for it and got my SI joint adjusted it worked.  Some people are anti thing other than western medicine so they

wouldn't think of possibly trying an alternative.  I had good results and believe strongly that western medicine doesnt have all the answers.  Chinese medicine has been around longer than our western and works fine. Trust yourself and what you need to do.  Others will stir you away but use your wisdom. Peace be with you!!!
