The problem I would say is the game she is playing. The very nature of soccer is to throw one leg out in front of the other repeatedly in order to kick the ball. Unless the player is two footed the vast majority of time is spent using the same leg to stand and balance on while the other kicks the ball. The kicking leg will, with time be positioned ahead of the standing leg, thereby causing a mis-alignment of the hips/pelvis and the causing the problems mentioned.
