Question
I have been dx with IT band syndrome in my right knee, initially brought on by overtraining for a marathon.  That has been almost a year ago, and still am bothered at times by lateral knee pain.  Can chriopractic medicine be benificial to me?  Any suggestions would be helpful.

Answer
Hello Kelly,

Yes, chiropractic treatment may help with your IT band.  Doctor's of chiropractic specialize in the biomechanics of the bodies joints and muscular system.  You may want to find a doctor of chiropractic who specializes in sport/ soft tissue injuries as they will have experience with IT Band injuries.

Have a great day,
