Question I have suffered from low back, hip, and knee pain for a while now. We had a pillowtop matress and I thought if we purchased a new and difft. kind it may help. We bought a Serta firm mattress and I slept on it last night. I woke up in tears (I tossed and turned all night). I felt like I slept on the floor and I hurt all over. I am still stiff now and I have been up for 4 hrs. What do you recommend? I really need help with this. I am begging for a good nights sleep.
Answer Hello Tina,
You may want to see a doctor of chiropractic, they specialize in the spine (low back pain), joints, and musculature of the body. Proper alignment of the spine and knee may reduce your pain. Icing and stretching the painful area is something you can do that may help reduce the pain. Many patients prefer the Sleep Number beds but you may want to try chiropractic before purchasing another bed.
