Chiropractors/severe acid reflux

Question
Can a chirprator help with 7 weeks old baby that has severe acid reflux, vomits through the nose.

Answer
Melanie,

No, this is a problem that needs to be managed by your baby's pediatrician, your family physician, or possibly a pediatric gastroenterologist. Typically, a medical doctor would treat a problem like this with a PPI (proton pump inhibitor) such as Prevacid or Prilosec, which are available in liquid forms for children and infants. Your baby might required additional testing or evaluation before a prescription would be written by a medical doctor for medications like this. I strongly recommend that you bring your child to the appropriate medical physician as soon as possible.

I hope this answers your question.
