Chiropractors/severe pinched nerve in neck region

Question
For the past 5 years i have been getting regular chiropractic treatment.  My X-rays show that i have no curve in my neck.  About every 6 months or so i get these paralyzing pinched nerves in my neck.  The pain is so severe that it keeps in bed for two days.  I can't sleep and have a very hard time doing any kind of movement.  My chiropractor or MD can't seem to diagnose my problem.  My question is, what causes these severe outbreaks and how can i treat them or prevent them?

Thank you

Marco

Answer
Dear Marco,

The severe pain at the neck may be due to the lack of curvature in your neck.  This may alter the space where nerve exit the neck and travels down to your arms.  Since you have gone to an MD and chiropractor, perhaps acupuncture can help you in this case.
