Question
Hello, I am wondering what the treatment would be for tendonitis. What, if any, massage recommendations would you have for someone with tendonitis?
Thank you very much,
Angie

Answer
Hello Angie,

Yes, Myofascial Release and massage (muscle stripping) will help with tendonitis.  If there are adhesions in the muscle belly, soft tissue work will help reduce tension on the tendons.  Icing the affected tendon/s will help decrease inflamation.  Stretching the associated muscles should be done several times per day too.

Hope the information helps,
