Choosing Alternative Therapies/Resveratrol

Question
Hi
According to all the info, this seems to be the miracle supplement, even endorsed by Oprah.
Its not cheap, over $30 for 30 capsules so a buck a cap so at that price it must be good right?
I am a guy in his fifties and I just started taking it for its supposed youth restoring abilities? Really I just want to lose a little weight and look a little better.
Is been a week and I do look a little better, but I havent lost weight in fact it seems to have increased my appetite.
Any thoughts on this?
Thanks!

Answer
Reseveratrol's benefits are strictly geared to slow premature aging, and not necessarily for weight loss. I took it for one month but didn't notice much and stopped buying it, too. I think it's one of those "invisible" effects--hidden and long-term at best--that requires a lot of faith to keep purchasing and taking.  As for weight loss, look into HCG with your doctor's guidance.
