Question
Hello. A freind told me watermelon seed tea works great to help the kidneys and to flush the kidneys out.. I do have a question before I try this out.. I have Candida and I am not supposed to eat watermelon because of the sugar content. Would watermelon seed tea be ok to use or would the seeds also have sugar content that would feed candida and yeast?? thanks for your input.

Answer
I don't know about watermelon seed tea for candida but I do know that grapefruit seed extract (diluted in water) is good.  Perhaps many fruit seeds contain similar antimicrobial and antifungal properties that would help. Fruits try to ward off fungi attacks, and therefore create their own inner pharmacies, so to speak. When we ingest the phytonutrients, we get similar benefits.
