We are going to try for our second baby next year in march which is a "boy month" for us. We also are eating very alkalining foods and taking my temp every day and recording it. My husband wears only boxers and takes cool showers. So if I usually get my period at the beginning of the month..so (March 1st is period day)then I should see a raise in temp around the 14th of March and that day we will have deep penatration intercourse and basically do a handstand afterwards right?? Is there anything that I left out that's cruscial? Also, my temp had been up and down these past days and I just got over my period..I go between 96.8-98.4..so will it raise above this temp so I will know when I'm really ovulating??

Hi Chrissy,

You seem to be doing fine.... I am not sure what foods you are taking, so can't comment there :-)
I just want to make a suggestion. To be absolutely positive for a boy... refrain from sex until ovulation day..... female sperm can live for a few days and on ovulation day, they may be waiting right there to fertilise the egg, so don't have sex beforehand.... I would wait until ovulation day. If you do fall pregnant, your temperature will rise and stay steadlily risen.
