sir,
i want to become an astronaut but i'm not interested in flying planes.what other option do i have?what qualifications do i need?
Educationally, I think you will need a degree in engineering. I suggest that you go to the NASA web site and look on there for what criteria are used to accept persons into astronaut training. It may be that flying other things first is necessary, but I don't know that for sure.
