Hi Sue Kayton

How are you? I am from Chennai,India. I need a career advice for my friend.

My friend has just completed the 12th std from Central Board(CBSE). She has got 79%. She has got 2 choice of stream for getting in to engineering. She has the options

-->Bio medical
-->Bio technology.

I would kindly request you to suggest how specific the career opportunities in the streams and where she can land up. More importantly pl guide us how about the job opportunities in these streams.

Answer
There are many opportunities in both fields.  My suggestion is to find someone local in Chennai who is one of those fields and talk with them about it.  "Biomedical" and "biotechnology" mean different things in different cities and at different universities, and at most they mean the exact same thing.
