Question
Hi Todd,
I would like to ask you couple of questions.I graduated from Law School in Czech republic.I am interested in LL.M Program/Banking and Financial Law.I live in Rhode Island.I was thinking Boston University would be convenient for me.Do you also know if there are any scholarships for foreign students?
Thank you

Alexandra

Answer
Alexandra,

If you have a specific school in mind, like Boston University, your best option is to contact the financial aid department directly to see if there are any such scholarships. I can tell you generally that there are not as many scholarships available for professional schools because the assumption is that you will be making enough money after school to repay loans. This will probably be compounded if you are not a US citizen as scholarships for non US citizens is even more limited.

However, it can't hurt to check so give them a call.

Good luck.
