Question
Hello,

My name is Priscilla and I will be a freshman this fall at Austin College. I am content with my decision but I recently realized that I want to study film and Austin college does not offer it. Now I am looking for a school that offers this as well as other areas I am interested in, just in case I need to transfer, which is incredibly likely. I am on the pre-med track because med school is my ultimate goal, so I am looking for a school strong in science (mainly biology). I was looking to double major in film and classics with a minor in Biology, triple major if I can. I want the film major to focus on production and the classics major to not focus on the languages. I would also prefer that the school be a manageable size (1,200-12,000) and private. I've been searching for a school like this, but I can't find one. Do you have any suggestions? Should I give up and settle?

Thank you very much for your time.

Priscilla A.

Answer
There are some schools that you fit your criteria, but they would be next to impossible to get into this late in June.  I suggest you go with your decision and give it a chance.  You can then apply to a school that seems to fit your needs and transfer as a sophomore.
