Question
how do you get college scouts to recruit you? i mean schools like UConn,Duke,North Carolina,Tennese, and LSU. My school only gets rcruits from Alabama state and community colleges non of the big names.how do i  get the scouts to come to my school.

Answer
Hi Brittany,

You ask an important question. I suggest that you and all prospects should make a proactive effort to contact college coaches early in the recruiting process. If you wait for the coaches to contact you, it may be a long wait. Organize your academic and athletic information in a neat portfolio and forward it to the coaches. Be sure to follow up by phone to introduce yourself and begin developing a relationship with the coaches from the colleges you are interested in.

To get coaches to evaluate you off campus, you will need to either prove you are a "blue chip" athlete, or be willing to roll your sleeves up and make a sincere effort to get on their "radar."
