Question
QUESTION: first of all i am a Colombian student in France i m doing my degree of sociology at the university Paris 4, but i want to go to do my last year to the States, probably to learn more of "the school of chicago". Actually my problem is that anyone here in the university there's not a single person who knows about the best choice so i m sending you the list of universities where i can apply i will like to know which one would be a better option.

thanks for your time.
i forgot i m really interested in religion, politics and all of the "interactionist" studies.

ANSWER: Most schools in the states will not allow you to do just one year on their campus for your last year.  They require students to spend a certain number of credit hours on the campus.  This is something you check out on their websites before you make any plans.

QUESTION: actually i can do only my last year with the schools i gave u in the link, because they have some agreements with my university. i dunno if you saw the link i gave u, there there was the list of the universities. i know i can do it, i just don't know which one to choose. If u can again i ll be really gratefull.
thanks

Answer
Sorry, I am unable to open the link.  Sociology and the social sciences are usually good in most schools because they are very popular majors.  I think you should choose the school that offers you the best match in terms of location, academics, social life, and opportunities for internships.
