Question
Hello sir, I am sudarshan from Mumbai, India. I am a undergraduate student of aeronautical engineering planning to do MS in aerospace engineering from any good university of USA. I am trying to gather as much as information I get related to admission process, I came to know about season admissions in the universities like fall, spring and summer season admissions. I am a bit confused in these seasons, so I want to know some brief information about the college schedule of these seasons (like when does the actual college will start in a particular season, its deadline for sending admission application and other details) to choose a right season for me. Also what will be the ideal time to send the admission application for any desired season.

Answer
Sudarshan,

Most colleges admit students beginning in the fall of the year, generally August or September. Some colleges will also admit students beginning in the Spring term, generally around January or February, and a few admit students starting in the summer.

The application deadlines vary from college to college so you will need to identify which colleges you have an interest in applying to and then look at that college's web site for application deadlines.

Because this is so specific to each college I can't be more specific with your question.

Hope that helps.
