Question
Are Christian colleges or universities more expensive than big name universities? What kind of proof or evidence do you have?

What if I have already some debt, should I still consider Christian colleges?

Answer
Gabriela,

Christian colleges are mosr costly than public universities, and will be similar in line to many private schools, but will not carry the price tag that of elite liberal arts college or Ivy (or potted ivy). There are some excellent Christian school out there, too, Wheaton, Gordon, Houghton, Westmont, for example.

You'll never know for sure if the Christian school costs more, or less, until you go through the admission and financial aid processes.

If you are looking for a school with a faith-friendly social atmosphere, good academics, more peers that share your religious interest, than it is probably worth considering. But, I know Christian students who have had fine experiences at secular schools. It really depends on your situation.

I hope this helps.
