Choosing the Right College/College Help

QuestionI am a high school junior, and I am starting to go through the college process (taking SATs, looking at colleges, deciding a major, etc.). I am currently undecided as to my major, and although I know that I do have time to decide this, I would like to find a college that would offer a variety of opportunities for my interests. I enjoy singing and music, and also enjoy writing. I have considered music therapy, however I do not know how to play either piano or guitar, and both are required for the field. I am open to basically any ideas, but I don't really want to be a teacher, and I'd like an area that focuses on creativity. Do you have any suggestions as to websites or other resources that could help me decide at least a general area of study, and any resources that could help me find a college that would be good for me?
AnswerThere is a web site www.mymajors.com that gives you a chance to look at a lot of different areas and what is involved in each. I would suggest you consider a liberal arts school that would give you a chance to take classes in different subjects and explore what excites you the most. There are many wonderful liberal arts schools in the U.S. that offer a great education that can lead to all kinds of job opportunities.
