Choosing the Right College/choosing a college

Question
Hi,
My daughter is a senior in High School and is trying to decide where to go to college. She is thinking about architecture or maybe computer graphics. She loves geometry and she is very creative and artistic. We live in Ashland, Kentucky and would prefer to find a Christian college as close to home as possible. Do you have any suggestions?

Answer
Lani,

While it's not that close to Kentucky, the first school coming to mind is Judson, in Illinois. It is, I believe, the only Christian school offering archtecture; I'm not sure what it does in terms of computers but likely it offers somethign in that area.

You may also want to check out the curriculums at John Brown University (ARK) and LeTourneau (TX).

I encourage you to have your daughter take an interest inventory through her guidance office or nearby college counselign center. Perhaps such an instrument would help to pin down her interests a bit more, or to identify where the conjunxctions of her interests might be found. This would help in the search process.
