Choosing the Right College/Can I go to college?

Question
Hello, earlier this year I graduated from homeschool(i'm 17) and I honestly don't feel like i've learned anything useful. I've been looking at colleges, but everthing seems to go over my head. It feels like I have the education of an eighth grader. I'm not sure if you can help, but I was wondering if you knew of someway that I could still go to college? I really want to go but I don't feel anywhere near smart enough to do so. Please help, thank you

Answer
Don't be discouraged Lorenzo because you probably are a lot smarter than you think you are.  You might consider a community college for a year to get your feet on the ground and take some of your core classes.  If you do well, you can always transfer to a four year school.  There are also colleges that help prepare students who may not quite be ready for the big leap or need some more support.  Don"t give up because you can succeed.

College admissions can be a very confusing and overwhelming process for parents and the children. I serve as an objective third party to help families through this process.
