Question
QUESTION: I am doing 3rd year aeronautical engineering in India. I want to pursue higher studies in US. kindly guide me as to which specialized subject i should choose for MS higher studies? Also pl advise me which is the best university in US for doing MS or Ph.d in aviation and am i eligible for scholarship?

ANSWER: Some schools you might want to consider are the University of Arizona, University of Colorado. Embry Riddle, Penn State University, or the University of Missouri.  Right now many schools in the United States are facing financial difficulties, so it is hard to know whether a scholarship would be available or not.  You would need to email the financial aid office at each of these schools to find how what they might suggest.

QUESTION: Thank you very much for your quick reply. presently i have taken design as the elective subject in my Aeronautical degree course. kindly let me know the specialized subject i should take in MS for my higher studies to have job opportunity /further scope- Thanks

Answer
That is a question you would probably have to ask professors who are directly involved in the aeronautical engineering department.  They usually have a better idea of the job opportunities for their graduates and which companies have been on the campus recently and what they are looking for as specialities.  That would be something you could certainly email an aeronautical engineering department at any school and ask.
