Question I am a senior in highschool and have recently realized ny interested in the field of natural health. Prior to this though, i was planning to go to a community college for my first two years and trasfer to a four year school to complete a bachelor or master degree. Now I discovered that the community college does not offer anything realating to this field. Is it required to take classes realting to natural health before transfer to a natural health university(such as bastyr university)?
Answer Katherine,
If you look at the curriculum for Bastyr, you'll see that they require some 100 and 200 (frosh/soph) classes, in and out of your major. In general, you can transfer to most schools an equivalent class at those levels. But, because Bastyr has a unique program, you should check with them about what you may transfer in. The transfer coordinator there ought to be able to help - especially if you know which 2 year school you'll go to, and have that college's catalog handy for the conversation.
