1.Which is the best univ for doing my master's
2.the last date to apply for FALL-2010
3.GRE and TOEFL score required
4.FEE
5.FUNDING

ANSWER: Naga,

I can suggest some schools for you to check out on your own, as you know better what it is you're looking for.

Here are the major grad level schools in the greater Boston area:

Boston College
Boston University
Harvard
MIT
Worcester Polytech
Clark University
Suffolk University
U Mass - Boston

You should plan to take the TOEFL, for sure.

If you have the ability to teach or do research, you might have a chance at a grad assistant position, which would help with costs. Howver, colleges are inundated with requests for funding from international students, so you will face stiff competition for any of these places. You probably should determine whatr resources you have so you can talk with schools about how much support you'll need for college. They may work with you more willingly then - if they know you aren't seeking full funding.

QUESTION: Can u suggest me some universities in DETROIT or MINNESOTA..in order to pursue my MASTER"S IN COMPUTER SCIENCES...In addition, the last dates for sending applications for 2010-fall,winter and 2011-spring...plz tell me a date as i have gone throught countless number of sites and totally confused..thanking u..plz do reply

Answer
Detroit area

University of Michigan, Wayne State, University of Detroit Mercy.

As an international student, you should apply right away as there needs to be time for your records to be rec'd and for you to go through the VISA process. I suggest that you begin the process right away. Most colleges are off now for 10 days or so, but they can keep up with any paperwork that comes in.

If you already have TOEFL scores you should have them sent to the schools you apply to, and also you'll need to have your transcripts translated into English language and grade equivalencies if they aren't based on a US type grading scale.

Best wishes.
