Question
What college should I go to if I want to be a plant scientist?

Answer
If you want to be a plant scienctist, you should plan on going to grad school for at least a master's degree and perhaps even a PhD.

For your bachelor's degree, pick a college that suits you (location, distance, campus personality) that offers the chance to take either a botany major, or a bio major with a good dose of botany in it. You should also take related courses in things like chemistry, conservation, research methods and statistics.

As far as grad school goes, if you do well in your bachelors, you probably can get an assistantship for your grad schools work, which covers your cost and even pays you an income. It's something to shoot for, so study a lot!
