I'm looking for a college with a good sociology department. i live in California I have around a 3.33 GPA and moneys not a huge problem but I can't be spending my life spending on tuition what's the best college for me

There are many schools, both large and small, that have excellent sociology departments.  The first thing you need to consider is what school would be the best fit for you.  Do you want a large or small school, one in a small town or city, public or private, etc.?  When I work with students I try and find the schools first that will be a good match for a student's personality and then take a look at those and see which ones offer the best program for the major that is of interest.  That is probably a good place to begin.  I don't usually suggest particular schools unless I get to know a student and that takes time and research.
