Question
I live in houston tx and I would like to know what are some good colleges near here. I would prefer going to a college that is in houston but I have try to find one that has pre-med and I can't find one. I wanted to go to baylor college but I think it's only for people that already have a barchelor's degree. I want to go to one of the best colleges or universities but I don't know which one to attend. I actually looking for how expensive is it.

Answer
Lots of students think they have to major in pre-med in order to get into medical school.  Most medical schools prefer students who major in something they really enjoy.  In fact, the most sought after major is philosophy.  Of course, you need to take as many science classes as you can and do well in them also.  But consider what school works best for you and apply to medical school when you are finishing your third school of undergraduate studies.
