Choosing the Right College/where do I go

I live on the west coast (Oregon) and I don't want to go to far from home but I want to get in the best college for doing children psychology, working with abuse or kids with family loses and things of that sort... which college do you think would be the best for me?

I suggest you find some schools that offer you what you want in terms of location, size, and those that seem like a good match for you.  Psychology is a very common major and if you are really interested in child psychology, you will need to get an advanced degree.  That is when it will be important to find a school that offers a strong program in child psychology with opportunities for internships.
