Question
I am in a dilemma, I have two Canadian university acceptance letters. One from Carleton University and one from Brock University in the computer science field. The problems seems to be that Carleton has offered me a place in the computer science majors program without co-op and computer science majors is a general degree for which I cannot further postgraduate studies in Carleton. Where as Brock has given me admissions in a specialized computer science honors program, with co-op. Please advise me as to which university to choose, as i have heard Carleton to be a very respected university but the program at Brock is exactly what I need from an undergraduates program.

Answer
Farshad,

In this situation as you have described it, I would go with the specialized program with the co-op.

In Canada, the 'University' label means the school has the highest general ranking that Canadian higher ed offers. So, you can be sure that you will be in a good and respected program at Brock.
