AboutSusie Watts Expertise I have spent more than 20 years helping students select colleges and advising them in all areas of the college admission process
Experience College admissions can be a very confusing and overwhelming process for parents and the children. I serve as an objective third party to help families through this process.
Question All I know is that I would like to pursue a career in mathematics and I'm not really looking at being a teacher. I would like a college that has a great music program, a great mathematics department, and a beautiful campus. I would like it to be small enough that the professors know me, but large enough that I don't feel like I'm in high school. I would to have a plentiful list of activities that I can join. I am in many activities and my GPA is 3.95. Any suggestions?
Answer I usually don't suggest specific colleges for students without taking time to get to him them. This takes time and research. I work with many students helping them with college selection, but only for a fee because it usually takes me three or four hours of research. I would suggest you buy a copy of Fiske's Guide to Colleges which lists more than 300 schools with lengthy descriptions and is a good place to start your college search. It sounds like you should have some good opportunities.
