Question My son will graduate from high school next year. What's your recommendation on choosing a regular college/university that offers LD programs, or a colleges for ADHD? Also, is there any colleges for ADHD in California that you would recommend? Many thanks!
Answer I would opt for a regular college that offers the necessary support services your son will need - though I acknowledge saying this not knowing anything about his situation. Untimed or spoken tests, tutoring, lighter courseloads - all are fairly standard support offered in colleges these days. I would suggest looking first at smaller schools where he may find it easier to establish personal connections with staff and profs.
