QUESTION: hi i am only fourteen but already i am thinking ahead. i want to become an accountant but i have no idea what college to go to. i would really love if you gave me some college suggestions,

There are a whole lot of options on this - can you tell me:

would you prefer a specific part of the country?

would you prefer a certain setting - small town, city, etc?

Big school or smaller school?

What kinds of activities will you want to be involved with - music, sports, etc?

do you want a school focused on business, or is the chance to study other areas appealing to you?

If you can reply to these questions I can suggest some places to check out.

QUESTION: well i don't care what part of the country it's in just as long if it's not in the east, but i would love a big school. don't want the college to focus on business i am open to studying other areas appealing to me. and if i were to be in any activity, it would be music.

And do you have any college suggestions about being an archeologist? the same information apply.

Here's a starting point. Check out these schools, which differ in setting and feel, and it may give you a sense for what is the best fit for you:

Your most local community college

Menlo COllege (CA)

Occidental College (CA)

Santa Clara University (CA)

Cal State Long Beach  (CA)

Willamette University (OR)

Evergreen State (WA)

University of the Puget Sound (WA)

Seattle Pacific (WA)

Archeology is more typically studied in grad school; good prep for that would be bachelor's courses in anthropology, history and geography.

I hope this info helps. You have time to check things out, so don;t feel panicked about it. When you have the opportunity, take whatever accounting class your high school offers.

Be sure to take both the SAT and ACT.
