Choosing the Right College/Confused

Question
Hey, sorry to put this question here, this may not be the right section but this was the one that seemed to best fit.
So, I'm going to start college in the Fall and I've already registered for classes, but I think they're all wrong. I guess I don't fully understand college yet. Okay, so here is the situation: I want to major in Computer Science, right now I'm going to go to a community college because I didn't complete a rigorous high school education(or take the SAT's), just the stuff I needed to graduate. In the middle of my Schedule of Classes for my college it has a CSU Advising Form. I thought those would be the classes I need to take to transfer to a Cal-State. So I've registered for 4 classes that have nothing to do with my major. I don't want to take those classes as much as I would if they were computer related, but I definitely will if necessary to transfer. On the CSUN website for Computer Science majors, and the 4 year plan stuff, there are pre-major classes, my question is, shouldn't I be taking those right now? Or do I have to take general education classes first, then transfer, then do four years at CSUN? Thanks!!

Answer
You will need general education classes to transfer and that is why you are signed up for those.
It doesn't mean that you can't take a few computer science classes before you transfer because you can, but english, math, science, and the social sciences are required for everyone.
