Question Hi,I'm entering my senior year of high school and I already know what I want to do which is be a pilot in the Air Force.I'm really interested in aviation and what to know about the types of aircraft there is and how they function but not really sure in what to major in. I was thinking Air Transportation. Whats the difference between air transportation and aviation management? What other majors would you recommend?
Answer You could consider aeronautical engineering or consider going to one of the schools that specialize in training pilots. Take a look at Daniel Webster in New Hampshire or Emry Riddle in Florida. Aviation management would be for someone who wants to be in an airport management position.
