Question I live in Louisville, ky and i want to go to collage in florida
im a junior student at prp high, and I don't know where to start
Answer Hi Davon,
First of all, I'm not sure what a prp high school is? If it's a college prep high school, then you probably have a college counselor who can help you get started.
There are public and private colleges in Florida, as in all states. You'll be paying out of state tuition at schools in Florida since you live in KY. So, there might not be much cost difference for you whether you choose a public or private college.
You should first of all consider what criteria you're looking for in a college in addition to the location being in Florida. Then you should go to the counselors office and look though some of the resources they have listing colleges in various states with descriptions and entrance requirements. There are online sources also. Google "florida colleges".
Most importantly, take a PSAT test this fall, keep studying and earn good grades.
