Question
Hey Susie,  I am Anthony from Greece and this time i have to choose my future studies..Well things are quite complicated as i am a student of International Baccalaureate (IB) in case that you know it (age 17) and what i want to do after my studies is to become a diplomat. Which course(s) and which universities would you consult me to think of? Should i emphasize more on studies like to international law, international politics, economics or international relations? Maybe a combination of the two ? or something different than these ? Thank you very much for your time, any information that you can offer to me will be proven to be really useful . I am sorry if this question should be addressed to another expert or category but i am quite a newbie in the site and it still seems somehow complicated to me . Thank you once again!

Answer
Going to college is complicated and most students need some help in order to make the right decisions. I would suggest that you consider a major in political science, history, international affairs or something related.  You do not need to choose a major at this time.  Give yourself a chance to explore the options by taking a class in different areas and see how you like it.  The most important thing is to major in something that you enjoy and want to find out more about.  I am a college consultant and would love to advise you more, but unfortunately it takes quite a bit of research on my part and I need to charge fees for that.
