Question
Susie:

I'm a Colombian girl who wants to study  in the USA (geology, physics, related majors). I am looking for a college or university that awards generous international aid.

Besides, I'm a very good student (top 10%)and unweighted GPA  of 3.4
I took  the SAT and got 590 in CR   610  in Writing and  740  in Math.

Which would be the schools that match my interests and that would be willing to award me a grant or a scolarship?

Thank you.

Answer
Money is pretty tight at most colleges right now.  I would suggest you apply to some private colleges and universities that offer good programs in physics.  You can do an online search to find a few good ones.  Go to collegeboard.com to start.  You will need to submit an application for financial aid and also apply for any merit scholarships the schools might offer.
